Marco Felisati

Married with two daughters. He has dealt with international relations, trade, and trade-related matters for over 25 years. He is Deputy Director for Internationalization and Trade Policy at the Confederation of Italian Industry – Confindustria. B7 and B20 Sherpa to the Global Business Coalition – GBC. Member of the International Relation Committee of the European Union of Employers’ Organisations – Business Europe; National Lead Coordinator and Vice Chairman of the Trade and Investment Committee at Business at the OECD; member of the Executive Committee and of the Presidency Council of The International Chamber of Commerce in Italy – ICC Italy; member of the Consultative Committee for Industrial Mutations at the European Economic and Social Committee – EESC. He previously served at the European Commission – DG External Relations as National Detached Export, and at the Confindustria Brussels Office. He graduated in Political Sciences at the Bologna University. Visiting Student at the MA Banking & Finance at the Bangor University, New Wales, UK. Post-graduate in Banking Disciplines at the Siena University, Italy; Post-graduate in European Affairs at ISTUD, Rome, Italy; Post-graduate in International Carriers at SIOI, Rome, Italy.

Massimo Beccarello
Energy & Resource Efficiency
Massimo Beccarello is Professor of Industrial Economics and Environmental Economics at the University of Milan Bicocca. In Confindustria he is responsible for the energy and environmental sustainability area. Author of numerous publications in the energy and circular economy fields, he is director of CESISP (Center of Economics and Regulation of Public Utility Services of the University of Milan Bicocca).

Antonio Matonti
Integrity & Compliance
Director of the Legislative Affairs Department of Confindustria since 2014. He has been working in the Legislative Affairs Department focusing on national and European legislation concerning company law and public economic law since 2006. He has been collaborating with the chair of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome. He has held numerous conferences on company law, public law and competition issues and eased the businesses-institution dialogue several times. He frequently appearing in front of the parliamentary committees during their formal and informal hearings. He has been a member of different ministerial reform Commissions. Member of the Technical Secretariat of the Corporate Governance Committee. He has published several scientific papers and articles, on legal matters for prominent economic and political newspapers. One child, graduated with honours in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome.

Stefania Rossi
Employment & Education
Born in 1975, Stefania Rossi works in the Employment, Welfare and Human Capital Department of Confindustria, the Confederation of Italian Industries. She is the manager in charge of EU and international social affairs, with more than twenty years of experience in a broad range of policy areas, notably social dialogue, industrial relations, labour market, skills, international labour standards and social sustainability. She represented the employers’ views in several social partner consultations at national, EU and international level and served as employer spokesperson in a number of social dialogue negotiations. She designed and implemented many projects in the field of social policy in collaboration with social partners’ organizations, public institutions and universities. She is Vice Chairperson of the Management Board of EUROFOUND, the European Foundation for the improvement of living and working conditions. She is member of the European Social Dialogue Committee, of the Social Affairs Committee of BusinessEurope and of the Employment, Labour and Social Affairs Committee of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD. She is the Italian Employer Delegate at the International Labour Conference in Geneva and member of the Tripartite Committee for ILO activities at the Italian Labour Ministry. She holds a degree in Political Sciences from the Luiss Guido Carli University of Rome and specializations in industrial relations and human capital management.

Valentina Carlini
Digital Transformation
Married with three children. She has been working in the Industrial Policy Department since 2013, after a long experience in credit and finance in Confindustria. Contributes to the analysis and definition of policies to support companies in the digital transformation, and she is an expert in associative relations aimed to promote investments in 4.0 technologies. She is responsible for the Industry 4.0 Project, consisting of creating and developing a network for Digital Innovation Hub for Confindustria, which is fostering the SMEs demand for digital innovation and networking. Coordinates the DIHs network and supports their growth through several initiatives such as promoting collaboration agreements with large companies and Competence Centre and their involvement in Italian and European initiatives. Member of the Working Group “SMEs involvement and Testbeds” within the Industry 4.0 Trilateral Cooperation (Italy – France – Germany). Speaker in Industry 4.0 training projects and conferences on a National Industry 4.0 Plan.

Francesca Brunori
Finance & Infrastructure
Francesca Brunori is the Director of the Financial Affairs Department of Confindustria since January 2018. She is currently member of the Management Board of FONDO DI GARANZIA PER LE PMI (a public guarantee fund established by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and aimed at fostering SME’s financing), Chair of the Financial Affairs Working Group of Business Europe (the organization representing national business federations of 35 European countries) and member of the Advisory Board dedicated to the development of the Alternative Investment Market of the Italian Stock Exchange (BORSA ITALIANA). She has been Director General of FEDERCONFIDI (the Italian Association of Mutual Guarantee Societies of the industrial sector), Head of the Credit Department at CONFESERCENTI (an Association representing companies of the trade and tourism sectors), Secretary General of the Italian Alliance for Mutual Guarantee Societies. She has also held the positions of Chair of the Board of Directors of PREVINDAI (the Italian pension fund for managers of the industrial sector) and non-executive Director of FONDO ITALIANO DI INVESTIMENTO SGR (an asset management company that manages a private equity, venture capital and private debt fund).

Luca Del Vecchio
Health & Life Sciences
Luca Del Vecchio has worked in the Territorial Policies, Innovation and Education Area of Confindustria since April 2013. His work experience in Confindustria started in June 1989. Since then he has held the position of Operations Co-Ordinator for Confindustria’s Health Project and joined the unit titled “Social Security, Welfare and Health Care” in May 2001, until March 2005. Mr. Del Vecchio is also the Vice President for FASI, the supplementary health care fund for executives of Italian companies. Mr. Del Vecchio also serves as one of the reviewers for the MIUR and CRUI project on life sciences since 2016, and he has participated in the proceedings of Confindustria’s Committee on Digital Economy since 2013. Moreover, he has worked in close cooperation with the Italian government for a more thorough analysis of the problems connected to the delayed public administration payments of the health sector. He became a member of the roster of experts of the Italian Ministry of Health in the field of supplementary health funds, starting from 2007 until 2009.
In 1991 Mr. Del Vecchio was awarded a British Council Scholarship at Birmingham University. In 1991 and 1996 he served as Expert of the European Commission (DG XII) for the evaluation of research and innovation projects proposed by SMEs.

Francesca Mazzolari
Action Council on Sustainability & Global Emergencies
Francesca Mazzolari is a senior economist and head of public policy evaluation studies at the research department of the Confederation of Italian Industry – Confindustria. Her main areas of expertise are in the field of labor and public economics. She currently serves as vice chair of the Economic Policy Committee at the OECD. She earned a BS in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University (Milan) and a PhD in Economics from the University of California San Diego. After graduation, she held positions as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Rutgers University (New Jersey) and at the University of California Irvine. She has published articles in refereed journals on: the take-up of welfare benefits, the economics of immigration, wage structure and inequality.
