Information on the processing of personal data of the users visiting the Website

This section provides information regarding the processing of personal data of users visiting the Website www.b20italy2021.org (hereinafter: “the Website”) or using the services on the same Website.
The information is provided exclusively for the Website and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through the links present on the Website.

Categories of personal data and purposes of the processing
Consultation of the Website may involve the processing of data suitable for directly or indirectly identify a natural person (e.g. name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, IP address).

Browsing data
Browsing data are those acquired automatically by the systems and programs used to operate the Website and are necessary for the use of the web services (e.g. IP addresses or domain names of the terminals used by users). These data can also be used to process anonymous statistics on the consultation of the Website and to check its correct functioning. In these cases, the browsing data do not allow the identification of the users concerned and are deleted immediately after processing in an anonymous form.
Navigation data can also be used to ascertain responsibility in case of crimes against the Website or carried out through the Website.

Data provided by users

Legal basis of the processing of persona data
The processing of personal data referred to in this information is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller to pursue its institutional and statutory purposes through the web communication of information, initiatives and services of interest to the user. Therefore, pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 6, par. 1, point. (f) of the EU Regulation no. 679/2016 (hereinafter, also “GDPR”), the processing does not require the consent of the data subject.
Furthermore, the processing of personal data referred to in this information is necessary to comply with the legal obligations to which the Data Controller is subject, as well as to be based on its legitimate interest in protecting its rights. Therefore, pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 6, par. 1, point. (c) and point. (f) of the GDPR, the processing does not require the consent of the data subject.
In any case, when necessary, the Data Controller requests the user’s consent before proceeding with the processing of personal data.

The provision of personal data
Except for browsing data, which are collected independently by the system, the provision of personal data by the user is optional. Any refusal to provide data prevents the possibility of using the services provided through the Website or of following up on users’ requests.
Confindustria reserves the right to interrupt the provision of services if the data obtained prove to be untrue.

Means and duration of the processing
Personal data are processed under EU Regulation no. 679/2016, to Legislative Decree n. 196/2003 and Legislative Decree n. 101/2018.
The server on which the Website is hosted is located in Holland.
Personal data shall be processed for amount of time strictly necessary to pursue the purposes for which they were collected.
Personal data are processed by Confindustria’s personnel, acting based on specific instructions provided in the matter the purposes and methods of processing.
Personal data may be communicated to: i) external bodies , which carry out support tasks on behalf of Confindustria support tasks (e.g. IT services), in their capacity as Data Processors; ii) public entities for the fulfilment of legal obligations, which will carry out their respective processing activities as independent Data Controllers.

Data subjects’ rights
Data subjects have the right to obtain from Data Controller access their personal data, its rectification, updating and cancellation. Moreover, suppose it is believed that processing has been carried out in infringement of the personal data protection regulation, the Data subject may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority Autorità Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali), Piazza Venezia, 11 – 00187 – Rome).
