DISCLOSURE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA PURSUANT TO ART. 13 OF THE EU REGULATION N 679/2016 (GDPR)
Pursuant to EU Regulation no. 679/2016 (so-called GDPR), in this section, information is provided regarding the processing of personal data of candidates for members of the Task Force of the Business Summit “B20 – Italy 2021” (hereinafter: “Task Force B20”).
This information concerns the processing of data relating to natural persons only, not that of legal persons, entities and associations, for which remains confirmed the guarantees against the sending of unsolicited communications.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing
Personal data will be processed to manage applications for members of Task Force B20.
The process is based on the need to follow up on and/or satisfy the interested party’s request to apply as a member to the Task Force B20. Therefore, pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 6, par. 1, point. (b) of the GDPR, the processing does not require the consent of the interested party.
Confindustria invites interested parties not to send personal data which the GDPR defines as “particular”, that is, suitable for revealing racial and ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, political opinions, membership of parties, trade unions, associations or organisations of a religious, philosophical, political or trade union nature, as well as personal data relating to the health, sexual orientation of the person. If it is necessary for the interested party to enter “particular” personal data in the application, it is required to provide a specific consent to the processing of such data. Confindustria will delete the “particular” personal data provided in the absence of the specific declaration of consent.
Nature of the provision of personal data
The provision of data is optional. However, any refusal to provide it prevents the application from being followed up.
Method, scope and duration of the processing
The processing is carried out through the use of mainly computerised procedures.
Personal data are processed by the Confindustria staff, who acts on the basis of specific instructions provided regarding the purposes and methods of processing.
Personal data may be disclosed to i) external structures, which carry out support tasks on behalf of Confindustria (e.g. IT services), in their capacity as Data Processor; ii) public entities for the fulfilment of legal obligations, which will perform their respective processing activities as independent Data Controllers; iii) exclusively for purposes related to the selection, public and private subjects, who will carry out their respective processing activities as independent Data Controllers.
Personal data shall be processed for the entire duration of the procedure for setting up Task Force B20 and kept for two months following the closure of the selections.
Rights of interested parties
At any time, interested parties have the right to access their personal data, to request corrections, updates and cancellations. It is also possible to request the limitation of the processing and the portability of the data. These requests can be addressed to Confindustria, Viale dell’Astronomia, 30 – 00144 Rome, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Furthermore, in the event that it is believed that the processing has been carried out in violation of the personal data protection regulation, the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, Piazza Venezia, 11 – 00187 Rome, is recognised.
